Itinerary

Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)

Day 1. Mandurah and Bunbury (D)
Your holiday begins with a warm welcome and home pick-up before meeting your fellow travellers aboard our comfortable coach. Our first stop is Pinjarra, where a browse through the local op shop and a treat from Café Chérie offers the perfect start to your journey. We continue south to Harvey for more treasure hunting at the Salvos store, known for its charming mix of vintage finds. Around midday, we arrive in Bunbury, where you’ll have free time to explore the town and enjoy lunch at a café of your choice. Take a stroll along the waterfront or browse the boutique shops before we journey on to Yallingup. There, we settle into the historic and elegant Caves House Apartment Hotel, our home for the next three nights.

Day 2. Dunsborough and Cowaramup (BD)
Today is dedicated to op-shopping and local discoveries. We begin in Dunsborough, with visits to St George’s Op Shop and Vinnies—favourites among locals for uncovering pre-loved treasures and maybe even a designer gem. Next, we visit Cowaramup—affectionately known as “Cow Town”—famous for its life-sized cow sculptures and quirky personality. You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch, explore local boutiques, and browse the Lions Op Shop. Be sure to stop by the Candy Cow for handmade sweets and Moon Haven for fragrant, natural products. After a delightful day of exploring, we return to Yallingup and enjoy a peaceful dinner at Dunsborough Lakes Golf Club, where the relaxed country setting makes for the perfect evening.
Overnight: Caves House Apartment Hotel, Yallingup.

Day 3. Busselton (BLD)
This morning, we head east to Busselton, starting with a visit to St Mary’s Op Shop—always a fun stop with its great selection of clothing and homewares. We then explore the Old Butter Factory Museum, a unique attraction showcasing everything from maritime relics to local agricultural heritage, where we’ll enjoy morning tea. Afterwards, there’s free time to discover Busselton at your own pace—wander the main shopping strip, take in the ocean breeze along the foreshore, or visit the Jetty precinct. Choose your favourite café for lunch before we continue to Mates Op Shop, Zibusiso Op Shop, and The Salvation Army store for an afternoon of bargain hunting. After a full day of finds and fun, we return to Caves House for a relaxing evening—ideal for unwinding or showing off your new treasures.

Tour Activity Levels

With such a diverse collection of travel options, we want to ensure you choose the right holiday for you.

Our tour activity levels are a guide to the required fitness level for each of our holidays.

Look out for the feet when reading about a tour!

  • Relaxed

Suitable for travellers with lower mobility.

You will be required to embark/disembark coaches, trains and other transport via steps unaided. You must be able to carry your own luggage and walk short distances. Stairs may need to be negotiated at times. Travellers with walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome and those requiring accompanying assistance and/or carer may consider these holidays.

  • Moderate

Required to walk confidently and unaided.

Expect guided walking tours of attractions with occasional inclines and stair climbs, some long days and multiple hotel changes during the holiday. Your accommodation may require access via stairs, a short walk to reach hotel facilities and have showers over baths.  Travellers with walking sticks are welcome unless there is overnight rail or overnight cruising - please check with staff.

  • Active

Requires some fitness. Involves longer days filled with activities, excursions requiring standing and walking for extended periods of time and nature-based activities. You will be required to walk confidently over uneven ground and surfactant at a timely pace.

  • Highly Active

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

  • Challenging

A high level of fitness is required. Tours have an emphasis on active pursuits and often explore remote locations which are challenging to access. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 6 or more hours per day and have experience in outdoor pursuits. No walkers allowed.

Your health, wellbeing and enjoyment of the holiday is very important to us. In order to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and suppliers, electric scooters and buggies are not permitted on Villa tours.

Anyone providing care or assistance to others must be fit and able to provide the required support and care.
