Itinerary

Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)

Day 1. Perth to Adelaide (D)
Your holiday commences with courtesy home collection and transfer to Perth Airport for your flight to Adelaide. Upon arrival in Adelaide, you will be met at the airport by your Coach Captain and transferred to your accommodation.
Overnight: Majestic Roof Garden Hotel, Adelaide

Day 2. Victor Harbor and Kangaroo Island (BD)
This morning, take a ride on the only horse-drawn tramway in Australia, magnificent Clydesdale horses transport you along the causeway from the coastal town of Victor Harbor to Granite Island. Be impressed by giant granite boulders and panoramic ocean views. In the afternoon, board the SeaLink Ferry at Cape Jervis for the crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island, admiring the breathtaking coastline as you complete your sea journey.
Overnight: Mercure Island Lodge, Kangaroo Island

Day 3. Kangaroo Island natural wonders (BLD)
We journey to the west end of the island this morning to uncover the unique natural wonders of the Flinders Chase National Park. Discover the Cape du Couedic Lighthouse, Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Pause in the pristine national park for morning tea, before we move onto the south of the island where a postcard-perfect photograph and a leisurely lunch awaits you at Vivonne Bay before afternoon touring takes you back to your accommodation. Relax at your accommodation before dinner is served at the hotel.

Day 4. Kangaroo Island produce (BD)
Spend your morning nestled amongst calming aromas of Emu Bay Lavender farm, learn their farming process and sample delicious scones for morning tea. Lunch is at your leisure in Kingscote before an we journey to Clifford’s Honey Farm. Uncover the history of their unique honey produced from the purest strains of Ligurian bee’s in the world! Continue the generational history, with a visit a tour to the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery, take in refreshing aromas of their famous 100% pure Australian Eucalyptus Essential Oil and gain an insight into their harvesting process from the Kangaroo Island Narrow Leaf Mallee. Next take a few steps to celebrate an incredible day on the island with award-winning cider, brewed from local apple orchards at Kangaroo Island Ciders.

Day 5. Kangaroo Island scenery and wildlife (BLD)
Begin your morning meandering through the unspoilt wilderness at Seal Bay Conservation Park, an exquisite destination on Kangaroo Island where you can experience Australian sea lions. Embrace this exceptional nature-based experience on the sand or venture along pristine boardwalks with uncaged views of these incredible endangered species. Next, we visit the Raptor Domain to learn about resident birds of prey, including wedge tailed eagles, owls and kookaburras. This afternoon, we visit the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park, home to over 100 different species and offering more experiences than you can imagine. After a day of unique scenery and interesting animals, we retire to our hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 6. Kangaroo Island to Perth (BL)
This morning, we make our way to the mainland by ferry. Upon arrival on the mainland, transfer to Glenelg to admire the charming heritage hotels, bustling shops and beautiful beaches before boarding your flight home to Perth.

With such a diverse collection of travel options, we want to ensure you choose the right holiday for you.


Our tour activity levels are a guide to the required fitness level for each of our holidays.


Look out for the feet when reading about a tour!

  • Relaxed

    Suitable for travellers with lower mobility.


    You will be required to embark/disembark coaches, trains and other transport via steps unaided. You must be able to carry your own luggage and walk short distances. Stairs may need to be negotiated at times. Travellers with walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome and those requiring accompanying assistance and/or carer may consider these holidays.

  • Moderate

    Required to walk confidently and unaided.


    Expect guided walking tours of attractions with occasional inclines and stair climbs, some long days and multiple hotel changes during the holiday. Your accommodation may require access via stairs, a short walk to reach hotel facilities and have showers over baths. Walkers are ok unless there is overnight rail or cruising included in the tour.

  • Active

    Requires some fitness. Involves longer days filled with activities, excursions requiring standing and walking for extended periods of time and nature-based activities. You will be required to walk confidently over uneven ground and surfactant at a timely pace.

  • Highly Active

    Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

  • Challenging

    A high level of fitness is required. Tours have an emphasis on active pursuits and often explore remote locations which are challenging to access. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 6 or more hours per day and have experience in outdoor pursuits. No walkers allowed.


    Your health, wellbeing and enjoyment of the holiday is very important to us. In order to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and suppliers, electric scooters and buggies are not permitted on Villa tours.
