Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Hyden (D)
We collect you from home and begin our journey east to the charming town of Northam, nestled on the banks of the Avon River. Here, we visit the Northam Visitor Centre and marvel at the PUBLIC Silo Art Trail, where massive murals bring local stories and rural culture to life. We then continue through the
Wheatbelt, stopping for lunch at leisure in Merredin before arriving in Hyden in the early evening. Settle in at the Wave Rock Motel, just a stone’s throw from the iconic Wave Rock itself.

Day 2. Hyden to Albany via Silo Art Trail (BLD)
Today’s travels take us deep into WA’s artistic heartland. Departing Hyden, we explore the towering murals of Newdegate and Pingrup, each with its own story and vibrant colours that transform rural silos into spectacular public artworks. We pause for a picnic lunch, before continuing south to Albany. This afternoon we visit the Albany Whaling Station, which also features an engaging art display as part of the Great Southern Art Trail.

Day 3. Albany’s Art Trail (BLD)
Immerse yourself in Albany’s creative spirit as we spend the day exploring the Great Southern Art Trail. Begin with a visit to the Vancouver Arts Centre, home to local exhibitions and artistic workshops. We’ll also stop at the historic Albany Town Hall, a cultural cornerstone showcasing rotating exhibitions. Lunch today is at Handasyde Strawberries, where you'll enjoy a wholesome meal surrounded by artistic displays. In the afternoon, we continue to the Museum of the Great Southern, which hosts a pop-up art exhibition during the festival, before visiting the Albany Community Garden for a final splash of colour and creativity.

Day 4. Albany to Pemberton via Denmark & Manjimup (BD)
We say farewell to Albany and head west along WA’s scenic southern coast. First stop is Denmark, where we explore local art displays and visit the Butter Factory Studios, home to a collective of artists working in various mediums. After a short break for morning tea in Walpole, we continue to Manjimup for lunch at leisure and time to browse the creative works on display at the Manjimup Art Hub.
Overnight: Kingsley Hotel, Manjimup
Day 5. Pemberton to Perth (BL)
Our final day takes us on a relaxed journey back to Perth through the rolling hills and charming towns of Nannup and Balingup. Along the way, we stop for morning tea before enjoying a warm farewell lunch at the Drakesbrook Tavern in Waroona. After a memorable week of art, landscapes and connection, we’ll see you safely home in the afternoon.

Suitable for travellers with lower mobility.
You will be required to embark/disembark coaches, trains and other transport via steps unaided. You must be able to carry your own luggage and walk short distances. Stairs may need to be negotiated at times. Travellers with walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome and those requiring accompanying assistance and/or carer may consider these holidays.

Required to walk confidently and unaided.
Expect guided walking tours of attractions with occasional inclines and stair climbs, some long days and multiple hotel changes during the holiday. Your accommodation may require access via stairs, a short walk to reach hotel facilities and have showers over baths. Travellers with walking sticks are welcome unless there is overnight rail or overnight cruising - please check with staff.
