Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)

Day 1. Perth to Bunbury (LD)
The itinerary begins with a relaxing morning tea at Edenvale Homestead, followed by a visit and tour of the historic heritage buildings. Enjoy a morning of wildlife encounters with a trip to Big Red Zoo in Pinjarra. Lunch will be served at Redcliffe on the Murray, offering a scenic and delicious dining experience. The day concludes with travel to Bunbury, where you'll check in to your hotel. Overnight each night: Bunbury Hotel Koombana Bay, Bunbury

Day 2. Easter Sunday (BLD)
Happy Easter! The day begins with courtesy transfer to Church Services in Bunbury for those who wish to attend. Following the service, enjoy a scenic journey through picturesque landscapes as we make our way to Nannup. Upon arrival, explore the charming Holberry House with a guided tour, offering insights into the local heritage. Lunch will be served in Nannup, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquil ambiance. Afterward, travel back to Bunbury, taking in more stunning views along the way, before having some free time to unwind.

Day 3 Ferguson Valley and Wine Tasting (BLD)
In the morning enjoy a visit to Taffy’s Bunbury for an informative talk, where you can learn more about the sweet treats that they make and savor your sweet tooth of course! Enjoy a delicious lunch and wine tasting in the Ferguson Valley after visiting Gnomesville. In the afternoon we will visit the Wellington Dam and the dam wall mural which is believed to be the world's largest. It’s an unforgettable experience in one of the region’s most picturesque natural settings.

Day 4. Bunbury History and Culture (BD)
Today we embark on a memorable experience to the Dolphin Discovery Centre, here you’ll have the opportunity to view the playful dolphins in their natural waters. Next, enjoy a tour and informative talk at the Bunbury Art Gallery, showcasing local and contemporary artworks. Continue your exploration with a visit to the Bunbury Museum, where you’ll learn about the region’s fascinating history. Afterwards, discover classic vehicles at the Bunbury Geographe Motor Museum. The day concludes with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Day 5. Homeward bound (BL)
This morning it is time to head home. Travel through to Mandurah with a stop at the Lake Clifton Thrombolites before finishing the day with fish and chips on board with Mandurah Cruises to catch the playful dolphins in the canals. Upon arrival in Perth, we will see you safely home.

Our tour activity levels are a guide to the required fitness level for each of our holidays.


Look out for the feet when reading about a tour!

  • Relaxed

    Suitable for travellers with lower mobility.


    You will be required to embark/disembark coaches, trains and other transport via steps unaided. You must be able to carry your own luggage and walk short distances. Stairs may need to be negotiated at times. Travellers with walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome and those requiring accompanying assistance and/or carer may consider these holidays.

  • Moderate

    Required to walk confidently and unaided.


    Expect guided walking tours of attractions with occasional inclines and stair climbs, some long days and multiple hotel changes during the holiday. Your accommodation may require access via stairs, a short walk to reach hotel facilities and have showers over baths. Walkers are ok unless there is overnight rail or cruising included in the tour.

  • Active

    Requires some fitness. Involves longer days filled with activities, excursions requiring standing and walking for extended periods of time and nature-based activities. You will be required to walk confidently over uneven ground and surfactant at a timely pace.

  • Highly Active

    Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

  • Challenging

    A high level of fitness is required. Tours have an emphasis on active pursuits and often explore remote locations which are challenging to access. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 6 or more hours per day and have experience in outdoor pursuits. No walkers allowed.
