Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)

Day 1. Perth to Kalbarri (D)
Enjoy complimentary transfer to board the Villa coach, enjoying a shared morning tea at the Gravity Discovery Centre. Travel the coastal plains of Badgingarra with a lunch stop in Jurien Bay, continue through Eneabba, Dongara and Greenough, before arriving in Kalbarri. Overnight: Kalbarri Edge Resort, Kalbarri

Day 2. Kalbarri Wilderness Cruise (BLD)
Awaken to glide down the beautiful Murchison River on board your Kalbarri Wilderness Cruise. In the afternoon be ready to embark on a tour of the Kalbarri National Park where you will experience breathtaking views from the Kalbarri Skywalk, marvel at the gorges and meandering Murchison River from incredible vantage points. Overnight: Kalbarri Edge Resort, Kalbarri

Day 3. Kalbarri to Monkey Mia (BD)
Travel the North West Coastal Highway to set your sights on Hamelin Pool and set foot on a beach filled with trillions of shells, the famous Shell Beach. Float to the salty shores of Shell Beach where you should find the ancient stromatolites. By late afternoon arrive at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, placing you in the remarkable Shark Bay World Heritage Area. Overnight: Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, Monkey Mia

Day 4. Shark Bay wilderness and Ocean Park Aquarium (BLD)
Watch the sunrise over the ocean as you witness wild dolphins swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Monkey Mia. Board an 18 metre sailing catamaran, with Aristocat Cruise’s to explore the sheltered waters of Shark Bay. Spot dolphins, green turtles, manta rays. In the afternoon, get up close with the myriad of marine life at the Ocean Park Aquarium.

Day 5. Monkey Mia to Exmouth (BD)
Relax on the coach today for our journey North to the holiday town of Exmouth. Exmouth will be our base to explore the incredible Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area, including the Cape Range Natonal Park and all the coastal treasures on offer. Overnight: Potshot Hotel Resort, Exmouth

Day 6. Cape Range National Park (BLD)
Today is a day of exploring, begin in the Cape Range National Park to join a cruise through Yardie Creek, where you may be lucky enough to spot rare black-footed rock wallabies and take in ranges spectacular views. Following lunch, enjoy scenic touring to Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, past Harold E Holt Naval Base, the Navy Pier and the Potshot Monument. Overnight: Potshot Hotel Resort, Exmouth

Day 7. Ningaloo Marine Park, Coral Bay (BD)
Step aboard an eco-cruise and spend the morning on the water enjoying incredible views of the abundant marine life and colourful coral gardens of the Ningaloo Marine Park. Indulge in lunch at Bills Bar before we travel south to Carnarvon. Overnight: Carnarvon Motel, Carnarvon

Day 8. Carnarvon (BD)
Discover Carnarvon’s significant sites of interest. View the One Mile Jetty, the old whaling and prawn factory, local farms and the Carnarvon Space and Technology Museum. Overnight: Carnarvon Motel, Carnarvon

Day 9. Carnarvon to Geraldton (BD)
Continue our journey south to the Batavia Coast and Geraldton, stopping at Northampton on the way. Discover a moving tour that makes tribute to the sailors of the HMAS Sydeny II during World War II at the Geraldton Mount Scott memorial.
Overnight: Best Western Geraldton, Geraldton

Day 10. Geraldton to Perth (BL)
Commence our return journey home, heading South to Jurien Bay for a delicious farewell lunch.

With such a diverse collection of travel options, we want to ensure you choose the right holiday for you.


Our tour activity levels are a guide to the required fitness level for each of our holidays.


Look out for the feet when reading about a tour!

  • Relaxed

    Suitable for travellers with lower mobility.


    You will be required to embark/disembark coaches, trains and other transport via steps unaided. You must be able to carry your own luggage and walk short distances. Stairs may need to be negotiated at times. Travellers with walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome and those requiring accompanying assistance and/or carer may consider these holidays.

  • Moderate

    Required to walk confidently and unaided.


    Expect guided walking tours of attractions with occasional inclines and stair climbs, some long days and multiple hotel changes during the holiday. Your accommodation may require access via stairs, a short walk to reach hotel facilities and have showers over baths. Walkers are ok unless there is overnight rail or cruising included in the tour.

  • Active

    Requires some fitness. Involves longer days filled with activities, excursions requiring standing and walking for extended periods of time and nature-based activities. You will be required to walk confidently over uneven ground and surfactant at a timely pace.

  • Highly Active

    Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

  • Challenging

    A high level of fitness is required. Tours have an emphasis on active pursuits and often explore remote locations which are challenging to access. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 6 or more hours per day and have experience in outdoor pursuits. No walkers allowed.
