Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)
Day 1. Perth to Dongara (D)                                             
Departing Perth, head north stopping for morning tea in Lancelin. Then continue your journey north along the coast passing small coastal settlements before viewing the Pinnacles of Nambung National Park and exploring the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre. Lunch is at leisure in Cervantes. Overnight: Dongara Hotel, Dongara.
Day 2. Historic Dongara & Greenough (BLD)                    
With a local historian, discover the history and heritage of Dongara and Port Denison.  Listen to fascinating stories as you visit historic buildings and precincts. Next, we will visit Illegal Tender Rum Co for a behind the scenes tour of the rum production process and lunch on the deck. In the afternoon we will continue our walk down memory lane with a visit the historic hamlet of Greenough. Overnight: Dongara Hotel, Dongara
Day 3. Oakabella Homestead (BD)                                    
Today’s journey will reward you with vast views of outback Western Australia. We will stop in at historic Oakabella Homestead and Tea Rooms for a guided tour and a delicious morning tea. Overnight: RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, Monkey Mia
Day 4. Monkey Mia dolphins (BLD)                                   
Meet the friendly dolphins of Monkey Mia this morning, then cruise the sheltered waters of Shark Bay to view the spectacular coastline and many different species of birds and marine life. Overnight: RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, Monkey Mia
Day 5. Ocean Park Aquarium, Shark Bay (BLD)                          
Today, we will see the ancient stromatolites of Hamelin Pool. We’ll also get a close look at the region’s amazing marine life at Shark Bay’s Ocean Park Aquarium, including loggerhead turtles, tiger sharks and sea snakes. Overnight: RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, Monkey Mia
Day 6. Dirk Hartog Island experience (BD)                       
Travel to Dirk Hartog Island by boat to immerse yourself in the area’s spectacular landscapes and interesting history. Explore the island by four-wheel-drive, catch a rare glimpse of Steep Point – the western-most point of mainland Australia, and enjoy a delicious morning tea at the homestead. Following lunch, we’ll head north to Carnarvon. Overnight: Best Western Hospitality Inn, Carnarvon
Day 7. Coral Bay (BD)                                                       
In Coral Bay, the world’s largest fringing reef is just metres away from the shore and offers fabulous marine encounters. Stay dry with a below the water’s edge coral viewing cruise. Overnight: Ningaloo Reef Resort, Coral Bay
Day 8. Free day in Coral Bay (BLD)                                   
Today, enjoy the laid-back settlement of Coral Bay at your own leisure. Spend the day soaking up some winter sunshine and swimming in the crystal clear ocean of the Ningaloo Marine Park. Overnight: Ningaloo Reef Resort, Coral Bay
Day 9. Carnarvon (B)                                                        
Today a local Carnarvon resident provides a comprehensive tour of Carnarvon and its surrounds. Delve into the horticultural industries, visit heritage precincts and learn about the old marine industries. You will also visit the Carnarvon Space and Technology Museum before boarding the flight to Perth. Upon arrival we see you safely home.
