Day 1. Perth to Sydney (D)
Your tour commences with courtesy home collection and transfers to the Perth Airport for your flight to Sydney. Upon arrival in Sydney, your Coach Captain will greet you and transfer you to your Darling Harbour hotel. Overnight each night: Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour, Sydney
 
Day 2.  Sydney and Vivid (BD)       
Today we’ll explore the lush green open spaces, monuments and landmarks of Australia’s oldest park - Heritage Listed, Hyde Park. Then we’ll head to historic St Mary’s Cathedral to view the imposing Gothic sandstone revival building, which is Australia’s largest Cathedral building. After working up an appetite exploring Hyde Park and St Mary’s Cathedral, we’ll visit the beautiful Queen Victoria Building in Sydney’s central business district to enjoy lunch at leisure. Following lunch, we’ll go to the Royal Botanic Gardens to immerse ourselves in the inner city oasis of Australia’s oldest botanic garden and visit Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, which is a sandstone rock ledge carved by convicts in 1810. This historic landmark is considered one of the best vantage points to view Sydney Harbour. After dinner in Sydney we’ll head back to the botanic gardens to see the sights at night.
 
Day 3. Sydney behind the scenes (BD)            
Go behind the scenes at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) to see production studios, news studios and control rooms. Maybe you will even catch a glimpse of some well-known media personalities! Next, we will head to the historic Vaucluse House Estate to explore this beautiful sandstone mansion and its stunning gardens. Your behind the scenes experiences will continue at the Army Museum of New South Wales (housed in the original 25-cell district military prison constructed in 1847) and Victoria Barracks, which is one of the finest examples of military architecture in Australia.
 
Day 4. Opera House and Vivid (BD)    
This morning, we will take a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House to discover the stories, history of this Heritage Listed masterpiece that is home to 1000 rooms and 300 corridors. This afternoon there will be time to prepare for a magical evening aboard your Vivid Lights dinner cruise. With the help of leading artists and designers, Australia’s harbour city will be transformed with light, art, sculptures and grand scale projections. The sails of the Opera House will be a stunning canvas of colour and even the ferries, cruise boats and water taxies will be adorned with bright lights.
 
Day 5. Sydney to Perth (B)         
Today we will commence the journey home. Upon arrival in Perth you will be transferred safely home.
