Day 1. Depart Perth (Inflight)
We collect you from home to transfer you to the Perth International Airport for your overnight flight to Munich.
Day 2. Arrive Munich (D)
Today, arrive into Munich where you will meet with your local representative and transfer to your hotel. Tonight we come together for our welcome dinner. Overnight: Munich, Germany
Day 3. Munich (BD)
This morning a guided tour of Munich will take in the main sights of the city including Marienplatz and Frauenkirche and give you a wonderful insight into this city. The afternoon is then at leisure. You can choose to explore more of the city or relax at the hotel. Tonight dinner is at a traditional Bavarian restaurant. Overnight: Munich, Germany
Day 4. Munich to Salzburg (BD)
Depart for the drive to Salzburg with stops en-route for a visit to St Michael’s Basilica in Mondsee and free time in Hallstatt to view the sights. Overnight: Salzburg, Austria
Day 5. Salzburg (BD)
Today, a guided tour of Salzburg includes the Mirabell Gardens then the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the city. Overnight: Salzburg, Austria
Day 6. Salzburg (BD)
Leaving Salzburg for the day, your full day excursion includes a visit to the Dokumentation Centre of Obersalzberg and tunnels, a guided tour of Eagles Nest and a photo stop on the shores of the Konigsee before returning to Salzburg. Overnight: Salzburg, Austria
Day 7. Salzburg to Lake Bled (BD)
We leave Salzburg for the drive to Lake Bled with a stop en-route at Villach for free time.
Late afternoon we take a boat trip on a Plenta to visit the island and church of Lake Bled. Overnight: Lake Bled, Slovenia
Day 8. Ljubljana (BD)
Your full day excursion today is to Lake Bohinj and Ljubljana including a visit to the Alpine Dairy Farming Museum and a guided tour of Ljubljana including the castle and tower and the funicular ride. Overnight: Lake Bled, Slovenia
Day 9. Lake Bled to Opatija (BD)
On the drive to Opatija we stop to take a guided tour of the Postojna Caves and to visit the Predjama Castle. Overnight: Opatija, Croatia
Day 10. Opatija (BD)
Today is a full day excursion to explore the coastline including a guided tour of Pula, a visit to the Pula Arena Amphitheatre and free time in Rovinj. Overnight: Opatija, Croatia
Day 11. Opatija (BD)
The day is at leisure to relax or to further explore your surrounds (at own expense). Overnight: Opatija, Croatia
Day 12. Opatija to Venice (BD)
Leaving Croatia, we travel into Italy and onto Venice. Once in Venice we take the train to Venice Island where we enjoy a 2 hour guided walking tour of Venice. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight: Venice, Italy
Day 13. Venice (BD)
Today is at your leisure to enjoy the famous city of Venice. Overnight: Venice, Italy
Day 14. Venice to Innsbruck (BD)
Depart for the drive to Innsbruck including a stop in Bolzano for lunch (at own cost) and a visit to the Swarovski Crystal World. On arrival into Innsbruck we take a guided orientation tour. Overnight: Innsbruck, Austria
Day 15. The Tyrol (BD)
Today we take a full day excursion in to the Austrian Tyrol through the Stubai Valley with free time in Mutterberg. Tonight we come together for a Tyrolean dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight: Innsbruck, Austria
Day 16. Innsbruck (B)
Today is a day at your leisure. Overnight: Innsbruck, Austria
Day. 17 Oberammergau (BLD)
Late this morning, travel to Oberammergau. Every ten years the alpine village of Oberammergau hosts the Passion Play. The play's origins date back to 1633 when the community of Oberammergau found itself under threat from the Bubonic plague. Nowadays over 2000 of the village's residents work together to ensure the spectacle honours the vow of their ancestors. Overnight: Oberammergau, Germany
Day 18/19. Munich to Perth (inflight) (B)
After breakfast, depart for the drive to Munich with a stop at Neuschwanstein Castle. We then transfer to Munich Airport for your overnight flight to Perth. On arrival we will see you safely home.
