Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)
Day 1. Perth to Melbourne (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to the Perth Airport for your flight to Melbourne.  Overnight: Rendezvous Hotel, Melbourne
Day 2. Melbourne Highlights (BD)
Begin today discovering the Old Melbourne Gaol and its most famous inmate Ned Kelly.  The gaol is also one of Melbourne’s best historical places.  Used as a military prison during World War II, it has a fascinating display of the life of the men and women who lived and died here.  Today also features the Euraka Skydeck and the Immigration Museum.  Overnight: Rendezvous Hotel, Melbourne
Day 3. Melbourne to Wangaratta (BD)
Today we set out to travel rural Victoria to discover the beautiful Kelly Country.  Just outside of Melbourne in Seymour we visit the Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Walk, the only one of its kind in Australia dedicated to Vietnam Veterans.  The Walk has been created using symbolic elements of Vietnam and over 60,000 names of every serviceman and servicewoman who served in the conflict are listed.  In Benalla we visit the Regional Art Gallery for lunch in the café and to spend time in the gallery where you can see Glenrowan, the Sidney Nolan tapestry amongst other artwork that depicts the life and times of the Kelly gang.  Across the Broken River Bridge there is the Costume and Kelly Museum.  It specialises in costumes and local history including the Ned Kelly Story.  In the afternoon we make our way to Wangaratta.  Overnight: Quality Hotel Gateway, Wangaratta

Day 4. Glenrowan and Milawa Gourmet Region (BLD)
Today soak up the Ned Kelly tale in Glenrowan with a local guide, take a guided tour of Wangaratta then venture south to discover historic vineyards, award-winning wines and a growing food scene.  In the morning a local guide will join you aboard the coach to highlight the significant sites of Glenrowan before the Kelly story unfolds at the Kelly Museum and the authentic replica of the Kelly Homestead and Blacksmith Shed.  In the afternoon travel to Milawa one of Australia’s oldest gourmet regions, to sample cheese and to visit the famous Brown Brothers winery.  Overnight: Quality Hotel Gateway, Wangaratta
Day 5. Beechworth Guided Experiences (BD)
Just over half an hour away is Beechworth which boasts heritage architecture and elm and oak lined streets.  The Beechworth Historic and Cultural Precinct is a collection of nationally significant buildings which is a step back in time showcasing the town’s historical journey including the pioneers, the rich goldfields and some of Australia’s most notorious bushrangers.  The Ned Kelly Vault boasts the largest collection of Ned Kelly memorabilia, images and artefacts.  On a tour of the Beechworth Gaol hear the stories behind the events which eventually brought the Kelly era to an end. Overnight: George Kerford Hotel, Beechworth
Day 6. Beautiful Bright  (BD)
This morning travel to picturesque Bright which is renowned for its beauty in every season but particularly in autumn with the natural beauty of the European trees changing colour before winter.  At your leisure enjoy the quaint township.  There are the beautiful trails and landscapes of the Ovens River, galleries, cafes and shops to wander, the informative visitor centre with an interesting video and much more to explore.  Overnight: George Kerford Hotel, Beechworth
Day 7. Border Country and Hospitality (BLD)
Today there is much to explore around the NSW and Victorian Border.  The Bonegilla Migrant Reception and Training Centre was once made up of its own churches, banks, sporting fields, cinema, hospital, police station and railway platform.  Today, Block 19 is all that remains and is where the Bonegilla Migrant Experience brings to life the stories and experiences of the people who travelled through the centre.  The Kinross Woolshed dating back to 1890's is a relocated shearing shed rebuilt using the original materials and retaining its original features.  One of the busiest shearing sheds in Australia in its days it now stands as one of the most popular dining venues on the Border and a popular tourist destination.  Next we visit the iconic and the original Ettamogah Pub based upon Ken Maynard's cartoons.  Explore the unique and enjoyable environment, its walls of cartoons or wander through the cartoon inspired gardens, complete with a tree jail and other zany Ettamogah scenes and characters.  Overnight: Comfort Inn Blazing Stump, Wodonga
Day 8. Albury Wodonga to Perth (B)
Your bushranger adventure has come to an end.  We see you to the Albury-Wodonga Airport for your flight home to Perth via Sydney.  In Perth, our courtesy small charter vehicles will see you safely home
