Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)

Day 1. Perth to Sydney (D)
Your tour commences with courtesy home collection and transfers to the Perth Airport for your flight to Sydney.  On arrival into Sydney your Coach Captain will greet you and transfer you to your hotel located in Darling Harbour.  Overnight each night: Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour, Sydney

Day 2. Opera House, Vaucluse House and Vivid (BD)
This morning, begin at the Sydney Opera House where on a guided tour you will discover the stories, history and magic of this heritage listed masterpiece that is home to 1000 rooms and 300 corridors. Next on the shores of Sydney Harbour the peaceful gardens of the historic Vaucluse House Estate reveal’s a sandstone mansion that was built in the 1830’s and was home to William Charles Wentworth and his family.  This afternoon there will be time to prepare for a magical evening aboard your Vivid Lights dinner cruise.  With the help of leading artists and designers, Australia’s harbour city will be transformed into something magical with light, art, sculptures, grand scale projections and the unexpected.  The sails of the Opera house will be a stunning canvas of colour and even the ferries, cruise boats and water taxies will be adorned with bright lights.

Day 3. Sunday in Sydney and Vivid (BD)
At the Powerhouse Museum in Darling Harbour, browse the amazing array of treasures from the fields of science, technology, industry, design, arts and history.  The exhibitions are based on ideas that have changed our world and stories of the people who have created and inspired them.  For some retail therapy and lunch at leisure we visit Birkenhead Point, Sydney's largest outlet centre.  Shop at over 120 premium outlet brands whilst enjoying the spectacular harbour views or relax and enjoy the casual restaurants and cafes overlooking the marina on Sydney Harbour.  The afternoon you can choose to be transferred to The Rocks or return to Darling Harbour.  Then we have another special evening planned for you to enjoy the Vivid Festival of Lights.

Day 4. Sydney Behind the Scenes (BD)
Inside the Sydney home of the ABC, your guide will take you behind the scenes to visit production studios, news studios and control rooms.  You just never know; you just might rub shoulders with some of Australia’s well-known media personalities.  Next, the SCG experience is a walking tour of the historic Sydney Cricket Ground and Stadium along with the SCG Museum.  Sit in the dressing rooms, visit the hallowed turf, see prized bats and balls and other memorabilia and view the exhibitions on your guided tour.  Your Sydney behind the scenes experiences continue at the Army Museum of NSW which is housed in the original 25 cell district Military Prison constructed in 1847 and Victoria Barracks one of the best know examples of military architecture in Australia.

Day 5. Sydney to Perth (B)
Today bid farewell to Sydney and commence the journey home.  Aboard the coach travel to the Sydney Airport for the return flight to Perth.  On arrival into Perth Airport you will be greeted by courtesy small charter vehicle and transferred safely home.
