Day 1. Perth to Kalbarri (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to the luxury coach. Travel coastal sand plains of Badgingarra and Eneabba and continue through Dongara and historic Greenough before arriving in Kalbarri. Overnight each night: Kalbarri Edge Resort, Kalbarri
Day 2. Cruising the Murchison (BLD)
Join a wilderness cruise on the Murchison River. Over 500 million years old, and with an abundance of wildlife, history and natural beauty, marvel at the geology and chasms, the native bird and the impact convicts had on opening up this region. In the afternoon step into one of the largest parrot, free flight aviaries in the country then take a scenic drive along the dramatic Kalbarri coastline.
Day 3. Lakes, Lagoons and Stations (BLD)
View the magnificent colour of the Pink Lakes of Hutt Lagoon, enjoy a picnic lunch and view the historic remnants and ruins of Lynton Station then venture to the Principality of Hutt River. Pack your passports if you wish to have it stamped, tour the Government Buildings and Chapel and visit the Souvenir shop.
Day 4. Murchison House Station (BD)
At the beautiful Kalbarri foreshore witness local resident pelicans being hand fed then travel inland to Murchison House Station, one of the oldest and biggest pastoral stations in WA. Enjoy a real outback experience. Join a guided tour, learn about the history of the past settlers and the modern day workings of the station and be treated to morning tea. Next tour into the Kalbarri National Park and enjoy afternoon tea today in the great outdoors, surrounded by ancient landscapes.
Day 5. Kalbarri to Perth (BL)
Bid Kalbarri farewell and commence the journey south along the Indian Ocean Drive. In Jurien Bay enjoy a farewell lunch and on arrival to Perth we will see you safely home.
