Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)

Day 1. Perth to Hyden (D)
We collect you from home for the journey to Hyden.  Morning tea and lunch stops will be made in Brookton and Corrigin and along the way visit the Dog Cemetery and watch out for the regional wildflowers.  Overnight each night: Wave Rock Motel, Hyden

Day 2. Wave Rock and Hippo’s Yawn (BD)
Begin today at one of Australia’s most famous landforms, the spectacular Wave Rock.  This giant wave of multi-coloured granite will take your breath away. Nearby is the Wildflower Shoppe, Visitor Centre, a wildlife park, Lace Place and a Souvenir Shop.  At your leisure view the excellent display of Western Australian wildflowers, browse the gifts and explore the historic exhibits.  In the afternoon visit historic Wandilla Farm Homestead, famous for its handmade bricks by Italian prisoners of war and the vintage car collection.

Day 3. Lake Grace (BD)
Today, enjoy another full day exploring the spectacular countryside. At Tressie’s Museum view gramophones and farm machinery. If you are lucky, a local might play one of the gramophones!  Travelling towards Lake Grace, we tour the Tin Horse Highway, a fantastic collection of art by the local farmers who have made 100 horse displays from scrap metal.

Day 4. Hyden to Perth (BL)
Today’s journey travels the State’s Wheatbelt and includes a visit to the Corrigin Pioneer Museum and a farewell lunch in Quairading.  On arrival back into Perth we will see you safely home.

Please note that the appearance of wildflowers is a natural event dependent on rainfall and is therefore not guaranteed
