Day 1. Perth to Adelaide (D)
Following our arrival to Adelaide we transfer to the Fishermen’s Wharf Market, a waterfront site near the Lighthouse at Port Adelaide. A vibrant mix of stalls, sights, food and sounds, you will enjoy fossicking around for that unique item.  Tonight we join Port River Dolphin Cruise for dinner and to cruise along the historic Port River.  Overnight: Majestic Roof Top Garden Hotel, Adelaide 
 
Day 2. Adelaide Gardens and Museum (BD)
At the Adelaide Botanical Garden marvel at the wonders that can be found in the diverse gardens including the Wollemi Pine and the mysterious Amazonica waterlily which flowers only at night.  There are also historic buildings including glasshouses and the Bicentennial Conservatory.  Next a guided tour of the South Australian Museum will take you on a journey to discover natural and cultural heritage.  The afternoon is then spent at one of Adelaide’s most beautiful buildings, the Art Gallery of South Australia. The collection features painting, sculptures, prints, drawings, photographs, textiles, ceramics, glass, metalwork, jewellery and an impressive representation of Australian furniture from colonial to contemporary.  Overnight: Majestic Roof Top Garden Hotel, Adelaide 
 
Day 3. Markets, Railways and Aviation (BD)
Begin early this morning at Adelaide’s famous Central Markets for a fabulous breakfast tour.  You will taste a delicious selection of foods from South Australian artisan food producers and meet the suppliers, Stallholders and producers whose families have traded the Market for generations.  At the Aviation Museum we walk through some of the planes and look into the cockpits of the comprehensive collection of civil and military aircraft.  In the afternoon the National Railway Museum located in the heritage precinct of Port Adelaide houses a significant railway heritage collection.  Discover the largest undercover collection of passenger carriages, heritage locomotives and rail memorabilia in Australia.  Overnight:  Majestic Roof Top Garden Hotel, Adelaide 
 
Day 4. Adelaide’s Magnificent Houses (BD)
This morning is at your leisure.  Enjoy time in the city exploring Rundle Mall, relax at your accommodation or seek out an adventure of your own.  Following lunch at your leisure we drop into Carrick Hill for a guided tour through the house, telling the history of the Haywards and their home, as well as the artworks and furnishings.  Amongst the many paintings are works by Dobell, Gaugin and Sickert.  There are sculptures by Jacob Epstein of Albert Einstein, Bernard Shaw and Sir Winston Churchill and the house is decorated for English country life living.  Overnight:  Majestic Roof Top Garden Hotel, Adelaide 
 
Day 5. Indian Pacific (BD)
Take a walk on the wild side with a personal, informative guided tour of the zoo with a knowledgeable volunteer.  Enjoy the unique atmosphere of the zoo and bask in the sights and sounds this provides.  Next, join the skipper and crew on the wonderful fleet of boats called “The Popeye” on the River Torrens.  Relax as the cruise offers commentary and highlights the many landmarks and points of interest.  This evening, step aboard the Indian Pacific to begin your Adelaide to Perth journey. Day 6. Indian Pacific (BLD)
Wake up and marvel at the raw beauty of the Nullarbor.  Taking its name from the Latin meaning of no trees, the ancient Nullarbor conjures the sense of limitless space and time.  Take some time to reflect on the changing landscapes of your journey and enjoy the hospitality of the Outback Explorer Lounge as you travel across Australia’s longest single stretch of railway.  Overnight: Indian Pacific
 
Day 7. Arrive Perth (BL)
The Avon Valley beckons you and the mild skies and cool green vales of this picturesque part of the world will truly delight.  On arrival into Perth this afternoon, our courtesy small charter vehicle will be waiting to return you safely home.
