Day 1. Depart Perth (inflight)
Your Italian adventure begins with courtesy home collection and transfers to the Perth International Airport for your overnight flight to Milan.
 
Day 2. Milan to Como (D)
Arrive Milan and transfer to Como. Tonight come together for a welcome dinner and settle into your accommodation for the next three nights. Overnight: Como.
 
Day 3. Lake Como Cruise (BL)
In the shadow of the Alpine peaks and surrounded by lush Mediterranean foliage, discover some of the beautiful Italian Lakes region.  Take a morning guided tour of Como and visit the famous Villa Carlotta for a tour.  There is no better way to admire the beauty of Lake Como than on a boat tour.  Discover the beauty and appreciate the lake before visiting the Bellagio area just across the lake from Tremezzo.  Overnight: Como.
 
Day 4. Como Free Day (BD)
Today is a free day at your leisure.  Wander the stone paved streets, relax on the lakefront promenade, stroll past the shops, take a funicular ride or join another boat trip (at your own expense).  Dinner is at a local restaurant.  Overnight: Como.
 
Day 5. Como to Portofino (BL)
We leave Lake Como for Santa Margherita de Liguria to visit the main sights.  Its picture perfect seaside promenade features elegant hotels.  In Portofino, a popular and sophisticated village, enjoy lunch at a local typical restaurant.  In the afternoon continue through to Monterosso al Mare.  Overnight: Monterosso.
 
Day 6. Cinque Terre (BD)
From La Spezia, begin your full day guided tour of the pretty Cinque Terre.  Featuring the train journey and stops at the quaint villages, you will discover the stunning beauty of the UNESCO listed Cinque Terre, a collection of five interconnecting villages that cling to the steep cliffs.  Tonight we have dinner at a local restaurant.  Overnight: Monterosso
 
Day 7. Cinque Terre to Florence (BD)
En-route to Florence, we stop to visit Carrara and the famous marble quarries to learn about marble geology, excavations and history and to step into the underground quarry.  On arrival to Florence, we take a brief orientation tour of the city to view the main sights followed by dinner at a typical Florentine restaurant.  Relax in Florence for five glorious nights. Overnight: Florence
 
Day 8. Lucca (B)
Lovely Lucca is the perfect destination this morning.  Hidden behind its imposing walls are cobbled streets filled with cafes, shops and handsome piazzas.  An orientation tour with a local guide will allow you to view the main sights.  For lunch seek out a restaurant that showcases fresh produce from the Garfagnana region (at own expense).  Return to Florence and the remainder of the day is free.  Overnight: Florence
 
Day 9. Pisa and Pescia (B)
The Leaning Tower has made Pisa famous all over the world.  On a half day guided tour you will be captivated by a visit to the Leaning Tower.  In the piazza there is the Baptistery and Cathedral.  Return to Florence with a stop en-route in Pescia where there is time at your leisure to discover this Tuscan region.  Overnight: Florence
 
Day 10. Florence Guided Tour (BD)
Today discover the romantic and enchanting Florence along with its feast of world class art and architecture.  On your full day city tour you will view the Duomo, the impressive Uffizi Gallery and stroll around the typical markets and streets.  In the evening watch the Medici Dynasty show followed by dinner at a local restaurant.  Overnight: Florence
 
Day 11. Tuscany and San Gimignano (BL)
It is a true Tuscan experience today as you spend the full day touring Tuscan villages and scenery.  Take a guided winery tour in Chianti, enjoy free time at the hilltop town of San Gimignano, lunch is at a traditional restaurant and stop at Volterra.  You will feel like you have stepped back in time and the perfect landscapes will leave you captivated.  Overnight: Florence
 
Day 12 Florence Free Day (B)
Today is a free day for you to discover more of the Jewel of the Renaissance.  Relax at your leisure, journey through the town squares, wander down the Ponte Vecchio, discover more of the world famous sites, architecture and art, dine on local cuisine or do a spot of shopping (at own expense).  Overnight: Florence
 
Day 13. Florence to Sicily (D)
Today we transfer to the Florence Airport for the flight to Sicily’s Catania Airport.  On arrival, transfer to Taormina for a guided orientation tour of the city before enjoying dinner at a local Restaurant.  Relax in Taormina for four glorious nights.  Overnight: Taormina
 
Day 14. Free Day Taormina (B)
One of Italy’s most historic holiday resort towns, Taormina is a picturesque town perched high above the Ionian Sea.  Today is a free for you to relax and discover the beautifully restored medieval buildings, breathtaking views and streets laden with shops and restaurants (at own expense).  Overnight: Taormina
 
Day 15 Mount Etna Park (BL)
Your full day excursion today commences at Castelmola one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.  This tiny village directly above Taormina is built around the ruins of a Norman castle.  Next we travel onto Mount Etna territory and drive through the Park passing lava flows, lush forests and lunar landscapes.  There will be stops to take pictures of the largest active volcano in Europe and a winery tour, tasting and lunch.  Overnight: Taormina
 
Day 16. Syracuse and Noto (BL)
Today visit Syracuse with its beautiful historical centre of Ortygia and the Archaeological Park of Neapolis then enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant.  In the afternoon continue to Noto, home to one of Sicily’s most beautiful historic centres, and experience the fabulous baroque beauty of the city.  Here you will view the main sights before returning to Taormina. Overnight: Taormina
 
Day 17. Pompeii and Naples (BD)
Transfer to Catania Airport for the flight to Naples.  On arrival into Naples take a sightseeing tour to visit the archaeological museum of Naples and the well preserved ruins of Pompeii then continue to the coast and Sorrento.  Relax in Sorrento for three glorious nights. Overnight: Sorrento
 
Day 18. Amalfi Coast Touring (BD)
Your full day excursion along the Amalfi Coast will take you on a scenic drive along the coast with stops enroute to visit Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.  You will be captivated by the stunning Mediterranean landscape where mountains plunge into the sea.  With free time in the fabled towns you will be left spell bound by the allure of the Amalfi Coast. In the evening return to Sorrento. Overnight: Sorrento
 
Day 19. Free Day on the Amalfi Coast (BD)
Today the turquoise seas and picture perfect piazzas are yours to admire on your free day in Sorrento.  There are fine old shops selling ceramics, lacework and other items famously produced here. Alternatively, you might like to use your last free day with an adventure of your own (at your own expense).  Tonight dinner is at a traditional local restaurant.  Overnight: Sorrento
 
Day 20/21. Rome to Perth (B)
Today our magnificent Italian holiday concludes with a transfer to Rome International Airport where we board our overnight flight to Perth.  On arrival into Perth we will see you safely home.
