Day 1. Perth to Hobart (D)

Day 2. Hobart and Salamanca Markets (BD)
Take a tour of Hobart including Mount Wellington (weather permitting). At the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, an extensive collection comes to life on a theatre tour and next door is the replica of Mawson’s Hut. In the afternoon, head to the famous Salamanca Markets then tonight step aboard for a Derwent River dinner cruise. Overnight: Hadley’s Orient Hotel, Hobart
Day 3. Port Arthur (BD)
The breathtaking natural features, amazing sea cliffs and wild rugged landscapes of the Tasman Peninsula will leave you in awe. The day is then spent at Port Arthur, a place of English gardens, majestic trees and quiet memories. Overnight: Hadley’s Orient Hotel, Hobart
Day 4. Wall in the Wilderness (BD)
Today we head into the wilderness on our way to the rugged West Coast. At Derwent Bridge, admire the ambitious sculpture, The Wall in the Wilderness, which is a pictorial of the local pioneering spirit. This afternoon arrive into Strahan. Overnight: Strahan Village, Strahan
Day 5. Wilderness Railway (BD)
Join the West Coast Wilderness Railway to travel deep into Western Tasmania’s rainforest. Climb the steep mountainsides, enjoy stunning views of King River Gorge and step off the train for track side experiences. Your guide will bring stories of the railway and its resilient people to life. Overnight: Strahan Village, Strahan
Day 6. Cradle Mountain Wilderness (BD)
Travel to the Cradle Mountain Wilderness to join a specialised tour of Cradle Mountain and the haunting Dove Lake. Be captivated by the jagged contours, the wild landscapes, alpine heath lands, glacial lakes and icy streams. Overnight: Cradle Mountain Chateau, Cradle Mountain
Day 7. Cradle Mountain to Stanley (BD)
Leave the wilderness behind for the historic township of Stanley, which is dominated by The Nut. At Highfield Historic Site, learn of the rich heritage of the Van Dieman’s Land Company. From this vantage point, admire the views of Tasmania’s most northerly point. Overnight: Tall Timbers, Smithton
Day 8. Tarkine Wilderness Cruise (BD)
Today discover the forgotten wilderness of the Tarkine aboard your river cruise. Plying the Arthur River and feeding the sea eagles enjoy the serenity and, be spellbound by the magic, gaze up at the giant Tassie Oak and marvel at the ancient giant tree ferns. Overnight: Tall Timbers, Smithton
Day 9. Journey to Launceston (BD)
At Devonport, the stories and events of the infamous stretch of water, Bass Strait, are told in the Bass Strait Maritime Centre. We then head inland to Sheffield to view the extraordinary lifelike murals and sample local produce at Ashgrove Cheese. Overnight: Best Western, Launceston
Day 10. Gorge Cruise and the Tamar Valley (BD)
The scenic pleasures of Cataract Gorge and the Tamar Valley will delight you today. Cruise into Cataract Gorge then aboard your coach, travel amongst rolling hills, vineyards, orchards and villages. At Beaconsfield, step into the Mine and Heritage Centre for a guided tour. Overnight: Best Western, Launceston
Day 11. Eastern Tasmania (BD)
Travel east to Bridestowe Lavender Farm where fields set the scene for a picturesque morning tea then onto the award winning Pyengana Dairy Company to watch cheese being made and to sample their produce. On arrival into Bicheno, visit the East Coast Natures World, a sanctuary for Tasmanian wildlife. Overnight: Bicheno Beachfront, Bicheno
Day 12. Historic Midlands (BD)
The tranquil village of Ross exudes the beauty and drama of Tasmania's colonial history. Walk amongst buildings erected in Australia's earliest years and visit the Tasmanian Wool Centre. In Richmond step into Old Hobart Town, a model village depicting life in Hobart in the 1820’s. Overnight: Hadley’s Orient Hotel, Hobart
Day 13. Apple and Boat Building Heritage (BD)
In the Huon Valley, traverse fruitful orchards and riverside settlements. In a rustic original apple shed built in 1942, discover apple heritage then tour onto the Wooden Boat Centre to explore the age old craft of wooden boat building. At Tahune Airwalk, take a breathtaking stroll amongst the treetops. Overnight: Hadley’s Orient Hotel, Hobart
Day 14. Hobart to Perth (B)
Today, bid farewell to Tasmania and transfer to the Hobart Airport for the return flight to Perth via Melbourne. Upon arrival into Perth, courtesy small charter vehicle will see you safely home.
