Day 1. Perth to Hobart (D)
We collect you from home and transfer to the Perth Airport for the direct flight to Hobart.  Overnight: Hadley’s Orient Hotel, Hobart
Day 2. Hobart and Salamanca Markets (BD)
Touring Hobart, visit Mount Wellington (weather permitting), the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery for a theatre tour, and the replica of Mawson’s Hut.  Next the famous Salamanca Markets are at leisure then tonight join a Derwent River dinner cruise.  Overnight: Hadley’s Orient Hotel, Hobart
Day 3. Bruny Island (BLD)
Today, at Kettering meet the ferry for the short journey to Bruny Island, Tasmania’s premier island destination.  Aboard your coach, spend the day touring the islands wilderness, produce and scenery and meet the locals behind the boutique produce and tasty delights. Overnight: Hadley’s Orient Hotel, Hobart

Day 4. Free Day in Hobart (B)
Today is a free day.  Enjoy Hobart city or the waterfront at leisure or book a tour to Port Arthur, MONA or another experience (at own expense – contact the villa office for details).  Overnight: Hadley’s Orient Hotel, Hobart
Day 5. Wall in the Wilderness (BD)
Leaving Hobart head into the wilderness and onto the rugged West Coast.  Stop to admire the ambitious sculpture, The Wall in the Wilderness, which is a pictorial of the local pioneering spirit.  In the afternoon arrive into Strahan.  Overnight: Strahan Village, Strahan
Day 6. Wilderness Railway (BD)
Join the West Coast Wilderness Railway and climb steep mountainsides, enjoy stunning views of King River Gorge and step off for track side experiences.  Your guide will bring stories of the railway and its resilient people to life.  Overnight: Strahan Village, Strahan
Day 7. Gordon River Cruise (BLD)
On a cruise of the iconic Gordon River, listen to the narrative of the river and its rich history, see convict ruins, discover high-tech aquaculture, take in the serenity of the imposing river, stroll into the rainforest and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch.  Overnight: Strahan Village, Strahan
Day 8. Cradle Mountain Wilderness (BD)
The Cradle Mountain Wilderness beckons today.  On a specialised tour of Cradle Mountain and the haunting Dove Lake, be captivated by the wild landscapes, alpine heath lands, glacial lakes and icy streams.  Overnight: Cradle Mountain Chateau, Cradle Mountain
Day 9. Journey to Launceston (BD)
On the journey to Launceston visit Sheffield to view the remarkable murals, taste award winning cheese, delight in the picturesque Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm and drop by Deloraine to see the YARNS, a four panel story of the region depicted in silk. Overnight:  Country Club, Launceston
Day 10. Evandale and Brickendon (BD)
This morning Evandale and the Sunday Markets is at your leisure then step into the grand old world of Brickendon Estate for an insight into early colonial and convict history.  Explore the convict buildings, delightful poultry house and Chapel and the original homestead cottage. Overnight:  Country Club, Launceston
Day 11. Launceston (BD)
At Cataract Gorge, relax on the rolling lawns and enjoy the rides, suspension bridge and panoramic lookouts, then visit the Queen Victoria Museum and Gallery and the Launceston Tramway Museum.  The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight:  Country Club, Launceston
Day 12. Gorge Cruise and the Tamar Valley (BD)
The scenic pleasures of Tamar Valley will delight today.  Cruise into Cataract Gorge then aboard the coach travel amongst rolling hills, vineyards, orchards and villages.  At Beaconsfield, step into the Mine and Heritage Centre for a guided tour.  Overnight:  Country Club, Launceston
Day 13. Launceston to Perth (B)
Your Tasmanian adventure comes to an end.  We transfer you to the airport for your return flight to Perth.  On arrival we will see you safely home.
