Day 1. Perth to Melbourne (Inflight)
Pack your bags for a magical voyage to discover Canada and the Alaskan wilderness. Your epic journey begins with courtesy home collection and transfers to the Perth Airport for your flight to Melbourne. Overnight: Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport, Melbourne
Day 2. Arrive Vancouver (Inflight, D)
Depart Melbourne for your flight to Vancouver. Upon arrival at Vancouver’s International Airport, transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel, Vancouver
Day 3. Vancouver Sightseeing (BL)
After breakfast, tour Vancouver viewing sites such as English Bay, Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, Canada Place, Chinatown, Gastown, Granville Island, Stanley Park and Lions Gate Bridge. Crossing the bridge, the base of Grouse Mountain is soon reached. Take a gondola ride up the mountain to enjoy lunch with a scenic view of Vancouver and Howe Sound (weather permitting). Enjoy Theatre in the Sky, a Lumberjack Show, Birds in Motion Show and the refuge for grizzlies and grey wolves. Overnight: Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel, Vancouver
Day 4. Vancouver Island (B)
Today view the spectacular British Columbia coastline by land and sea. Boarding your ferry, travel through the serene beauty of the Gulf Islands and watch out for marine wildlife sightings. On Vancouver Island step inside the spectacular Butchart Gardens and in the city of Victoria admire impressive architectural wonders, including the Fairmont Empress Hotel and stroll along the Inner Harbour for prime ocean views at your leisure. Day 5. Vancouver to Kelowna (BD)
Depart into the fertile Fraser Valley and travel the highly elevated Coquihalla Highway. The scenery changes and the views are amazing. At Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley, your accommodation is located on the shoreline of Lake Okanagan with its own boardwalk. This evening enjoy wine tasting and dinner at Quails’ Gate Winery. Day 6. Kelowna to Lake Louise (BD)
The journey continues alongside Lake Okanagan to reach the area of Salmon Arm on Shuswap Lake where the landscape changes to farming meadows. The next stop will be in Revelstoke to see the impressive dam. Crossing into the Rocky Mountains you will enter Glacier National Park with Rogers Pass followed by Yoho National Park with Emerald Lake, Spiral Tunnels, Continental Divide until Lake Louise is reached. Overnight: Deer Lodge, Lake Louise
Day 7. Lake Louise Traditional Tea Ceremony (B/Tea)
In the morning tour into the Valley of Ten Peaks to see the turquoise shimmering Moraine Lake. In the afternoon enjoy a very special treat at the Fairmont Chateaux Lake Louise, The Traditional Tea Ceremony. It includes tea sandwiches and scones as well as fruit and chocolate in a serene and quiet setting. The afternoon is then free to enjoy Lake Louise on your own. Overnight: Deer Lodge, Lake Louise
Day 8. Columbia Icefield and Lake Louise (BD)
Travel one of the most scenic highways in North America - the Icefield Parkway to Columbia Icefield. Enjoy the Ice Explorer Glacier Tour onto the Athabasca Glacier. Along the way to Banff many stops will be made to take pictures or view wildlife. This highway is renowned for sightings of bear, elk, moose and mountain goats. Last stops will be at Bow and Peyto Lakes. Overnight: Banff Caribou Lodge, Banff
Day 9. Banff (BD)
In the morning tour the town of Banff and its environs. See amongst others the Hoodoos, Surprise Corner, Bow Falls, Banff Springs Hotel, Lake Minnewanka and Tunnel Mountain Drive. Enjoy the ride up Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola for a breathtaking view of Banff, Bow Valley and the surrounding snow-covered peaks of the Rocky Mountains. The afternoon is at your leisure. Day 10. Rocky Mountaineer (BL)
Today board the Rocky Mountaineer for your sightseeing daylight train journey in Gold Leaf Class. Your journey will cross over the Continental Divide passing through the spiral tunnels in Yoho National Park, a remarkable engineering achievement. Continue on through Rogers Pass with endless views of snowcapped mountains and stunning glaciers. Upon arrival in Kamloops transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Kamloops).
Day 11. Rocky Mountaineer (BL)
This morning re-board the Rocky Mountaineer train. Leaving Kamloops follow the Thompson River through Rainbow Canyon and on to Fraser Canyon where at Hells Gate you can watch the water torrent past the canyon walls at its narrowest point. The last leg of the journey leads through the fertile farming region of the Fraser Valley to arrive in Vancouver. Overnight: Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel, Vancouver
Day 12. A Day in Whistler (BD)
Today, travel along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway with stunning views of Howe Sound and the Tantalus Mountain Range. Upon arrival into Whistler you are free to explore this city, visit the Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre, or ride the breathtaking Peak 2 Peak Gondola linking Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, an engineering marvel (at own expense). Day 13. All Aboard the Coral Princess (BD)
The morning is at your leisure. At midday transfer to Canada Place to board the Coral Princess to begin your Alaska and Inside Passage cruise. When you step aboard, you will be setting a course for a world of wonderful new discoveries including relaxing pursuits and enriching activities to world-class entertainment and gourmet cuisine. Day 15. Ketchikan, Alaska (BLD)
Located on an island, Ketchikan began life as an Indian fishing camp. In the early 1900’s, when gold was Alaska's claim to fame, fishing and timber industries were established in Ketchikan. The growth of these industries helped make this Inside Passage port Alaska's fourth-largest city. Visitors to Ketchikan will be intrigued by its rich Native heritage and colourful history and be impressed with both the scenic town and its surroundings, especially Misty Fjords National Monument.
Day 16. Juneau, Alaska (BLD)
Some 30,000 people live in Juneau. Its total area makes it one of the biggest towns, in size, in the world. Only Kiruna, Sweden, and Sitka, Alaska, exceed Juneau's 3,248 square miles. Today Juneau is famous not only for gold and government but also for its breathtakingly beautiful glaciers and stunning views of both water and mountains.
Day 17. Skagway, Alaska (BLD)
Skagway was the gateway to the goldfields for the thousands who flocked to Alaska and the Yukon with the hope of striking it rich. The gold rush was a boon and by 1898, Skagway was Alaska's largest town with a population of about 20,000. Hotels, saloons, dance halls and gambling houses prospered. Today, Skagway still retains the flavour of the gold rush era.
Day 18. Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska (BLD)

Day 19. College Fjord, Alaska (BLD)
Discovered in the northwest corner of Prince William Sound during an 1899 research expedition, spectacular College Fjord stretches for miles. These massive rivers of ice tumble down from mountains and through valleys, dipping into the pristine waters of the fjord. Watch the awe-inspiring process of glaciers calving as they crack and land with a thunderous splash! College Fjord not only boasts the world's largest collection of tidewater glaciers, but it features magnificent snowcapped mountains as far as the eyes can see. It's a magical wonderland of epic proportions, so breathtaking you won't want to blink!
Day 20/21/22. Whittier to Anchorage and Homeward Bound (B, Inflight)
Bid farewell to the Coral Princess and transfer to Anchorage via the Anderson Memorial Tunnel which is the longest shared rail and car tunnel in North America. During the scenic drive down the Arm watch out for mountain goats and Beluga whales. Your Canadian/Alaskan adventure comes to and end as we transfer you to Anchorage International Airport to begin the journey home. On arrival into Perth, our courtesy small charter vehicles will see you safely home.
