Day 1. The Prospector Train (D)
We collect you from home for the journey to Kalgoorlie aboard the Prospector Train.  Relax as forests give way to the vast wheatbelt and the rugged scrubland of the goldfields.  Overnight: Quality Inn Railway Motel, Kalgoorlie
 
Day 2. Anzac Day in Kalgoorlie (BD)
Begin early with the Dawn Service then witness the Anzac Day march and ceremony.  Following lunch, visit Hannans North Tourist Mine for a glimpse into the gold mining history of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.  The Kalgoorlie Boulder Museum then highlights the rich history of the Eastern Goldfields and showcases the State’s largest display of gold bars and nuggets.
 
Day 3. Gwalia and Menzies (BLD)
Today explore a section of the Golden Quest Discovery Trail.  For morning tea, stop at Menzies then the ghost town of Gwalia has been preserved and maintained with love and respect for its heritage.  Tour the historic precinct and the house commissioned by Herbert Hoover before returning to Kalgoorlie stopping at Kookynie to enjoy a beer or ice cream at the Grand Hotel.

Day 4. The Golden Mile (BD)
See firsthand the operations of Australia’s largest gold mine on a tour of the KCGM Super Pit.  View the mining and milling operations and be in awe of the size of the dump trucks.  There is time to purchase lunch at your leisure in Kalgoorlie before visiting the Royal Flying Doctor Service Base which opened in 1937.
 
Day 5. Prospector Train (BL)
Today stop at Jack Carins’ Camp, Warden Finnerty’s Home and at the Goldfields Exhibition Museum relive the heady days of yesteryear.  In the afternoon relax aboard the state-of-the-art high speed Prospector Train for the journey to Perth.  Tonight on your arrival, we will see you safely home.
