This morning we ride the historic tram through lush forests, picturesque countryside, over trestle bridges and along river valleys, on one of the prettiest rail journeys in Australia. Listen to the commentary and reflect on the history of the timber railways that were so important to the region’s development and growth. Following lunch at your leisure in Pemberton, we take you on a journey south to Windy Harbour. Surrounded by the D’entrecasteaux National Park, Windy Harbour has a unique character and spectacular landscapes and coastal scenery.

Day 3. Easter Sunday (BLD)
Happy Easter. Transport will be made available for those wishing to attend traditional Easter Sunday church services today, then we’ll head to the cellar door at Silkwood Estate for tastings and to explore the beautiful gardens. Enjoy an Easter Sunday picnic lunch, after which we will take you on a scenic tour of the Southern Forest region taking in Beedelup Falls and the Bicentennial Tree.

Day 4. Nornalup Inlet and Valley of the Giants (BD)
All aboard the fully enclosed Rainbow Lady for a morning tea cruise across the scenic Nornalup Inlet, where we will learn about the unspoilt environment as we listen to entertaining commentary. Then we’ll travel through the spectacular Valley of the Giants, featuring grandiose examples of the mighty tingle and karri trees. Walk through the forest canopy on the internationally-acclaimed Tree Top Walk and meander through the ancient empire of veteran tingle trees on the boardwalks.
