Day 1. Perth to The Blue Mountains (D)
On arrival into Sydney, you will be collected at the airport and transferred directly to the Blue Mountains.  Departing the buzz of the harbour city, head for the tranquil mountain country.  Rise above the coastal plains, pass quaint small towns and onto the striking breathtaking scenery of the mountain region.  Overnight:  Nesuto Leura Gardens Hotel, Blue Mountains
 
Day 2. The Blue Mountains Scenery and Villages (BD)
Scenic World is the destination this morning.  For the thrill seekers there are rides, rides and more rides.  Step aboard the worlds steepest Railway or take a ride on the Cableway or Skyway.  For the nature lover there is pristine rainforest, charging waterfalls and striking escarpments to discover on the many walks.  In the afternoon, free time allows you to explore the quaint mountain village of Leura.  Returning to Katoomba in the afternoon, experience the famous and breathtaking sites of Echo Point and the Three Sisters.  Overnight: Nesuto Leura Gardens Hotel, Blue Mountains
 
Day 3. Jenolan Caves to Dubbo (BL)
Set in the Blue Mountains World Heritage wilderness, Jenolan Caves are a national treasure of awe-inspiring beauty and scale.  On a one-hour tour you will step into these famous Australian caves to discover one of the most outstanding cave systems in the world which also happens to be one of the world's oldest caves.  Leave the Blue Mountains to travel to Bathurst’s famous Mt Panorama Race Track, the home of the famous Bathurst 1000 car race. As you travel through Bathurst, gain a view of this gracious historical town.  This evening a twilight guided tour of the Old Dubbo Gaol is planned for you before the night is yours and at your leisure.  Overnight: RSL Dubbo, Dubbo
 
Day 4. Dubbo Taronga Western Plains Zoo (BL)
Escape into the wild at the famous Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo.  It is an early morning start today as you embark on a guided Dubbo Zoo early morning walk.  Discover hundreds of animals from around the world as you meander through the circuit that takes you through natural bushland and large open style exhibits.  Your walk is followed by breakfast at the zoo.  For the afternoon relax board the coach and watch the scenery pass as you travel to Bourke.  Overnight: Bourke Riverside Motel, Bourke
 
Day 5. Bourke Australia’s Quintessential Outback (BD)
A local of Bourke will join us aboard the coach this morning for guided tour of the town.  Then step into an amazing centre that will bring to life the story of outback New South Wales.  Discover stories of the inland sea, riverboats, conflicts, Henry Lawson and the wool industry.  The Outback Show will be the funniest show this side of the Black Stump and followed by a cruise aboard a paddle vessel on the Darling.  The entertainment continues tonight under the stars.  Beside the campfire, dine while listening to Australian poetry, stories and music.  Overnight: Bourke Riverside Motel, Bourke
 
Day 6. Bourke to Charleville and the Cosmos Centre (BLD)
Today sit back aboard your coach and watch the outback scenery pass you by.  There will be stops for refreshments and lunch.  An early dinner is planned at your Charleville motel before heading out for an evening never to be forgotten.  An experienced guide will take you on a journey through the Cosmos.  Witness a night time observatory session that will see the entire roof rolled back on the Cosmos Centre to reveal powerful telescopes.  You will see the distant stars and planets with your very own eyes.  Overnight: Charleville Motel, Charleville
 
Day 7. Charleville Heritage, Farms and Native Wildlife (BD)
On your guided town tour, a local guide will highlight heritage, history and floods and take you on a tour of the US Top Secret base that was established in 1942.  Following lunch at leisure, you will meet a local property owner who is no stranger to life on the land.  Learn about innovative farming practices over the years, hear this one man's story and gain an insight into his unique irrigation system, native wildlife and the relationship between farming and the environment.  Early evening meet the endangered Bilby and learn about the struggle to ensure the survival of this iconic little Australian. Overnight: Charleville Motel, Charleville
 
Day 8. Charleville to Longreach (BD)
Today make the journey from Charleville to Longreach.  Refreshment stops will be made along the way.  In Barcaldine, we visit the Australian Workers Heritage Centre that tells the stories of our railway workers, blacksmiths, farmers, nurses and teachers who shaped our nation.  Late afternoon arrive into Longreach and settle into your accommodation.  Overnight: Jumbuck Motel, Longreach
 
Day 9. Longreach (BD)
Longreach is the hub of outback Queensland’s prosperous sheep and beef cattle stations.  It is also home to the Qantas Founders Outback Museum.  Learn of the first QANTAS flight that stopped in Longreach on its way to Winton.  A highlight of the visit is a tour through a fully equipped 747 aircraft. The rest of the day is centred around the experiences on offer at the Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre.  Australia’s premier outback heritage institution will provide you with a spectacular outback experience.  Explore the museum, watch the show, visit the gallery and finish with a bush BBQ dinner.  Overnight: Jumbuck Motel, Longreach
 
Day 10. Longreach to Brisbane to Perth (B)
Bid farewell to the outback and begin the journey home.  A short flight from Longreach will take you to Brisbane.  From Brisbane another flight will return you to Perth where courtesy small charter vehicles are on hand to see you safely home.
