Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)
Day 1. Perth to Geraldton (D)
This afternoon we collect you from home and transfer you to the Perth Airport for the flight to Geraldton. This evening come together for a welcome dinner. Overnight: Best Western Hospitality Inn Geraldton
Day 2. Abrolhos Islands Scenic Flight (BD)
Today step aboard your small aircraft for the scenic flight to the Abrolhos Islands*. You will pass over the city of Geraldton and out to sea, view many of the Abrolhos Islands, pearl farms, historic buildings, colourful fisherman camps, marine life and some of the shipwrecks. Landing on East Wallabi Island, enjoy morning tea then return to Geraldton by air with the opportunity to see the Batavia shipwreck site. In the afternoon take a guided gallery tour of the Geraldton Museum and visit the HMAS Sydney Memorial. Tonight dinner is on the new waterfront precinct of Geraldton. Please note that the aircraft we will be flying in will be made up of a varied fleet of small aircraft and will be dependent on final numbers departing on this tour. You will be required to have suitable mobility to embark and disembark these small aircraft without assistance. The Abrolhos Island are a remote location without facilities.
Day 3. Greenough and Dongara (BD)
In Greenough and Dongara, we visit the hamlets, museums and historical sights to learn of the fascinating pioneer history and heritage of the region. Arriving into Greenough, the unusual trees growing at 90 degree angles will greet you and on the Irwin River, the town of Dongara has many charming historic buildings. Overnight: Dongara Hotel Motel, Dongara
Day 4. Dongara to Perth (BL)
This morning bid farewell to Dongara and on the journey home, stop for a farewell lunch. On arrival to Perth we will see you safely home.
