Day 1. Perth to Mannum (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to the Perth Airport for you flight to Adelaide.  On arrival into Adelaide your coach captain will greet you.  Begin your journey through the Adelaide Hills and into the Murraylands district which will be the focus of your holiday experience.  Overnight: Mannum Motel, Mannum
 
Day 2. Monarto Zoo and Hahndorf (BD)
Monarto Zoo is one of the largest open-range zoos in the world spanning more than 1,000 hectares.  Home to more than 50 species of exotic and native mammals, birds and reptiles, today you will have the chance to explore this amazing world.  With a natural safari setting and over 500 animals roaming for as far as the eye can see you will feel you have stepped into another world.  Next we head off to one of the prettiest towns in Australia, Hahndorf.  Here there is free time to wander the town exploring the buildings, history and shops.  A guided walking tour of the town will give you an in depth insight into the town.  Overnight: Mannum Motel, Mannum
 
Day 3. Murray Princess (BLD)
This morning we travel to Tailem Bend to visit Australia’s largest pioneer village.  There are over a hundred buildings for you to visit all furnished within their periods.  You will truly see what life was like for the settlers of South Australia from 1860-1960.  Mid-afternoon the PS Murray Princess departs historic Mannum and heads downriver while you enjoy pre-dinner drinks and a Welcome Dinner.  As we cruise under floodlight, you may see nocturnal wildlife on the riverbank.  Our on board entertainer provides music for the night owls.  Overnight:  PS Murray Princess
 
Day 4. Murray Princess (BLD)
In 1879, the first bridge to span the Murray River was built at Edwards Crossing, which quickly became the bustling township of Murray Bridge.  After a hearty breakfast, join a guided tour of the town’s historic landmarks and local attractions.  Today lunch aboard the Murray Princess will be an Australian style/themed Christmas lunch complete with Christmas carols, music trivia, a visit from Santa and Christmas decorations and bon-bons.  We continue cruising upriver and tonight enjoy being entertained by the talented crew.  Overnight:  PS Murray Princess 
 
Day 5. Murray Princess (BLD)
All ashore for the guided nature walk where our guide will share the secrets of the local flora and fauna before the PS Murray Princess departs for the big river gorges and 90 metre cliffs.  Mid-morning, join us in the Sturt Dining Room for a special presentation on the bounty of food and wine produced in the Riverland’s. Downriver, our discovery vessel awaits for a backwater wildlife tour.  Travelling in small, personalised groups, we explore the maze of the river and the birdlife.  Watch for darters, herons and egrets feeding along the river’s muddy edges.  The afternoon offers a choice of bocce or fishing challenges before joining the Captain and Officers for the Captain’s Dinner and Dance.  Overnight:  PS Murray Princess
 
Day 6. Murray Princess to Perth (BL)
We head back to Mannum and after breakfast, we reluctantly say farewell as we arrive at the Mannum Wharf.  We head to the Adelaide Airport for our return flight to Perth.  On arrival in Perth, our courtesy small charter vehicle will see you safely home.
