Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)
Day 1. Perth to Albany (LD)
We collect you from home and transfer you to the luxury coach. On the journey south, cross the Darling Ranges and travel through the Wheatbelt in Williams where there is a private collection of memorabilia to discover. Overnight each night: Ace Accommodation, Albany
Day 2. Field of Lights (BD)
At Princess Royal Fortress, explore the range of attractions starting at the summit with spectacular views. The highlight will be the award winning National Anzac Centre then visit the Albany Museum, take a guided tour of the Albany Entertainment Centre and enjoy afternoon tea overlooking the stunning waterfront. Tonight, the immersive art installation by Bruce Munro marks the last sight of home for the troops who departed for the Great War.
Day 3. Denmark and Green’s Pool (BLD)
In Denmark, enjoy morning tea and visit an Artisan Chocolatier. Travelling on, sample local produce at the Toffee Factory and at the Lake House relax over a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, visit famous Green’s Pool then drop in to the largest showcase of fine woodwork in the Great Southern.
Day 4. Whale World (BD)
Join the fascinating tour of Whale World then tour the spectacular coastline of the Torndirrup National Park. In the afternoon, entice your senses at Mount Romance Sandalwood Factory and drop by local artist Darrel Radcliffe’s bush gallery where wooden carvings of all sizes and shapes are scattered throughout the natural bush setting.
Day 5. Wildlife, Wine and History (BD)
Stretch your legs at Middleton Beach then take a wildlife, wine and history cruise. From Emu Point, cruise Oyster Harbour and the ancient Kalgan River. Meet Percy the pelican, watch giant rays through the boats glass bottom and enjoy live humorous commentary from poetry to Anzac legends. The afternoon is then at leisure.
Day 6. Albany to Perth (BL)
Commence the journey to Perth and for lunch, relax at the Quindanning Tavern. On arrival in Perth we will see you safely home.
