This month we chat to Tour Leader Jane Thorson.
Jane has been in the tourism industry for many years, previously, running her own business. Since starting with villa, the saying " You should learn something new everyday" is always on her mind. Jane says 'I learn about the places we visit, I listen and learn from the passengers I meet and I just love it!' Jane hopes to meet you someday soon on a villa tour, and as she says, she's always up to learning something new.
What are your favourite things to do when touring?
Taking our wonderful passengers to exciting destinations they've not visited before and making new friends within our "villa" family.
What were the highlights from the last tour you hosted with villa?
My highlights on our Just for Singles Yarra Valley tour were:
- Exploring the countryside surrounding our beautiful accommodation
- The Tesslaar Tulip Festival
- Teaching my passengers how to play Kelly Pool
What do you love about travelling?
Travelling expands the mind, gives us exciting experiences and we get some wonderful memories.
What can our travellers expect on the upcoming villa tours?
All villa tours offer our passengers new experiences, they form new friendships and visit some of the best places on Earth.
